Platform   Browser      How To Turn On JavaScript
Windows Firefox 1.5 / 2 / 3 / 3.5
  1. Select "Tools" from the menu bar and click on "Options...".
  2. Click the "Content" tab.
  3. Click on checkbox next to "Enable JavaScript".
  4. Click the OK button.
  5. Close out and relaunch your browser.
Windows Firefox 1.0.x
  1. Select "Tools" from the menu bar and click on "Options...".
  2. Click the "Web Features" tab.
  3. Click on checkbox next to "Enable JavaScript".
  4. Click the OK button.
  5. Close out and relaunch your browser.
Windows Internet Explorer 7 / 8
  1. Select "Tools" from the menu bar and click on "Internet Options...".
  2. Click the "Security" tab, pick the "Internet" icon, and then click the "Custom Level..." button.
  3. Scroll down to the Scripting category and select the "Enable" radio button for "Active Scripting".
  4. Click OK to close Security Settings.
  5. Click OK to close Internet Options.
  6. Close out and relaunch your browser.
Windows Internet Explorer 5 / 5.5 / 6
  1. Select "Tools" from the menu bar and click on "Internet Options...".
  2. Click the "Security" tab, pick the "Internet Zone" icon, and then click the "Custom Level..." button.
  3. Scroll down to the Scripting category and select the "Enable" radio button for "Active Scripting".
  4. Click OK and Yes, close the Security Settings
  5. Click OK to close Internet Options.
  6. Close out and relaunch your browser.
Windows Netscape Navigator 4.7
  1. Select "Edit" from the menu bar and click on "Preferences".
  2. Select the "Advanced" option.
  3. Click on checkbox next to "Enable JavaScript".
  4. Click the "OK" button.
  5. Close out and relaunch your browser.
Windows Netscape Navigator 6
  1. Select "Edit" from the menu bar and click on "Preferences".
  2. Select the "Advanced" option.
  3. Click on checkbox next to "Enable JavaScript for Navigator".
  4. Click the "OK" button.
  5. Close out and relaunch your browser.
Windows Safari
  1. Select "Edit" from the menu bar and click on "Preferences...".
  2. Click on the "Security" icon.
  3. Click on checkbox next to "Enable JavaScript".
  4. Close that window.
  5. Close out and relaunch your browser.
Windows Mozilla
  1. Select "Edit" from the menu bar and click on "Preferences".
  2. Click on plus sign next to "Advanced" to show Advanced options.
  3. Click on "Scripts & Plugins".
  4. Click on the checkbox next to "Navigator" under "Enable JavaScript for".
  5. Close out and relaunch your browser.
Windows Opera 7 / 8 / 9
  1. Open the "Tools" menu.
  2. Point to "Quick Preferences."
  3. In the submenu that appears, click "Enable JavaScript" if it does not have a check mark in front of it.
  4. Close out and relaunch your browser.
Windows America Online (AOL)
  1. Select "Settings".
  2. Select "Preferences".
  3. Select "Internet Properties".
  4. Select "Custom Level".
  5. Scroll down the Custom Level screen to "Scripting".
  6. Enable "Active Scripting".
  7. Select "Okay".
  8. Select "Yes" that you want to change the security settings.
  9. Select "Okay".
  10. Close the Preferences window.
  11. Close out and relaunch your browser.
Macintosh Firefox 1.5 / 2 / 3 / 3.5

  1. Select "Explorer" under OS X or "Edit" under earlier OSs from the menu bar and click on "Preferences...".
  2. Click on triangle next to "Web Browser" to open sub-menu if needed.
  3. Under "Web Content", click on checkbox next to "Enable Scripting" in the "Active Content" section.
  4. Click the "OK" button.
  5. Close out and relaunch your browser.
Macintosh Netscape Navigator 4.x
  1. Select "Edit" from the menu bar and click on "Preferences...".
  2. Click on "Advanced".
  3. Click on checkbox next to "Enable JavaScript"
  4. Click the "OK" button.
  5. Close out and relaunch your browser.
Macintosh Netscape 7.x
  1. Select "Netscape" under OS X or "Edit" under earlier OSs from the menu bar and click on "Preferences...".
  2. Click on triangle next to "Advanced" to open sub-menu if needed.
  3. Click on "Scripts & Plugins".
  4. Click on checkbox next to "Navigator" under "Enable JavaScript for".
  5. Click the "OK" button.
  6. Close out and relaunch your browser.
Macintosh Safari
  1. Select "Safari" from the menu bar and click on "Preferences...".
  2. Click on the "Security" icon.
  3. Click on checkbox next to "Enable JavaScript".
  4. Close that window.
  5. Close out and relaunch your browser.
Macintosh Mozilla
  1. Select "Mozilla" under OS X or "Edit" under earlier OSs from the menu bar and click on "Preferences...".
  2. Click on triangle next to "Advanced" to open sub-menu if needed.
  3. Click on "Scripts & Plugins".
  4. Click on checkbox next to "Navigator" under "Enable JavaScript for".
  5. Close out and relaunch your browser.
Macintosh Opera
  1. Select "Opera" from the menu bar and point to "Quick Preferences".
  2. In the submenu that appears, click "Enable JavaScript" if it does not have a check mark in front of it.

Macintosh AOL for Mac OS X
  1. Select "AOL" from the menu bar and click on "Preferences...".
  2. Click on the www icon in the scrolling list on the left side.
  3. Click on the "Content" tab.
  4. Click on checkbox next to "Enable Javascript".
  5. Click the "OK" button.
  6. Close out and relaunch your browser.
